ADHD and ADD
In early childhood children are still learning and often they don’t get it right. They can be forgetful, do things without thinking about the consequences, day dream and struggle to sit still. Sometimes spotting these behaviours may lead a parent to look closely at the signs and symptoms of Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD)
ADHD/ADD is a condition which makes it difficult for children to respond appropriately within social situations at home, at school or during leisure time. If your child is consistently showing a number of the signs and symptoms and you need more information we may be able to support you to help your child make the most of their abilities
The pathway to gaining a diagnosis may seem lengthy but by recognising the signs and symptoms this can give you a starting point for addressing any difficulties earlier rather than later. For more information please get in touch with us. Alternatively, contact ADHD North West by email or by phoning Barbara Worrell on 01524 822887.
